This kit includes the detachable XLR Handle Unit for advanced multi-channel audio recording via dual XLR/TRS combo inputs. The lightweight 1.2 lb magnesium alloy body features 5-axis in-body stabilization, Fast Hybrid AF with Real-time Eye Tracking, dual CFexpress Type A/SD card slots, and a built-in cooling fan for uninterrupted extended takes, making it a complete system for solo shooters and small crews.

The FX30 can record internally in 10-bit 4:2:2 UHD 4K at up to 120 fps using XAVC HS, XAVC S, or XAVC S-I formats. It can also output 16-bit raw video at up to 4.6K resolution via its full-size HDMI port to a compatible external recorder.
What audio capabilities does the included XLR Handle Unit provide?
The detachable XLR Handle Unit adds two XLR/TRS combo inputs and one 3.5mm stereo input, allowing for up to four channels of audio recording. It features physical dials and switches for adjusting gain and other settings, plus a clamping microphone mount for shotgun mics.
What type of memory cards does the FX30 use?
The camera features dual memory card slots that are each compatible with either CFexpress Type A cards or standard SD (UHS-II) cards. CFexpress Type A is recommended for the most advanced, high-bitrate recording functions.
